Choosing God

I graduated from The University of North Texas in May 2001 with a graduate degree. After I graduated from the university, I needed to make a decision for my future. Three choices were before me; get a job, get married, or come to the Full-Time Training in Anaheim (FTTA). At that time, I was seeing someone, who did not understand my commitment to the local church. I was confused because I had never faced opposition before about meeting with the local church. One day some Christian sisters encouraged me to attend The Training in Anaheim, California to see if I would like it. So I went for 12 days. It was a very enjoyable and marvelous experience to be with people who love the Lord. At that time, I fellowshipped with the brothers and sisters about my choices after graduation. During this fellowship and prayer, I had peace within to choose God for the first time in my life. After that clear decision I became a very happy person. This decision was the wisest decision I have ever made. Now I am here at the FTTA enjoying God by fellowshipping, singing, and speaking forth God in classes and services I attend. Watchman Nee and Witness Lee's books help me a lot to know God in His Word. Praying and coordinating in His work with other dear believers has also been so rich. I praise the Lord for everything He has done for me and the environment He has put me in to experience His riches and to enjoy His supply in the local church. God, thank you for letting me choose You!
